WORKED GREAT FOR ME. I NEEDED TO SEE WHAT ADDRESSES WE HAD THAT WERE FREE, AND WAS ABLE TO DO SO QUICKLY, WITHOUT HAVING TO GO TO EACH MACHINE.

It helped me alot, it was great.

I like that you can scan a specific range, and it scans fairly quickly. Click \'Skip\' upon first use. It doesn\'t pick up MAC addresses for some subnets and I don\'t know why. I have yet to intentionally generate an IP conflict to see how it reacts. I like the export capability, but it\'s only to .txt format and not .csv format. An options.ini file is automatically generated when closing ipscan.exe, regardless of any use or changes.

Very handy, was able to get some information quickly and easily.

Working ok, but would like to be able to assign names or location information on the application rather than needing to totally rely on the host name of the machine.

Thank you. IP Scanner works well on my XP system.I would like to find and sort devices by partial MAC address so as to find all devices of a particular manufdacturer.

Download did not happen. So no chance to try this software.

It worked without fuss and identified most the nodes I knew to be active. There\'s one it says is active which I\'m having a job identifying. Overall quite useful and nice and quick.

Problems I am not sure if it is lockdown because this is a trial version or what. I can't even select multipul IP's, it only does the first IP, then stops. Then if I change the start IP address. It will not change, it still scans the orginal IP entered. I have to clear and re-type everything in. It would be a nice product if it did what is was designed to do. Does the full version work completely? I would want to try that before buying anything.Thanks,Duane Street

I consider this to be a decent program. I'm really happy that the program is slim on my harddrive.

Dave`s review. Had a little problem understanding the split page functionality but it makes since to do it this way. I also had a hard time understanding how to stop the right side scan and make changes, Eventulaly I got it under control. Can't complain when it's free.

Great tool did just what I needed it to.

I needed to find the IP address of a wifi router on the network. After running a scan with this great little tool, I was able to find the router in the list of addresses. Worked like a charm!

Simple to use but gets the results Using Advanced port scanner for the first time saved me hours of work determining which ports were open in our network.The ability to define Ip ranges, include / exclude ports to be scanned, or just use the defaults produced results quickly and in a format easily understood and usable.A great product.

My impression of your port scanner I wanted to check the effectiveness of a new firewall placement. This software give me the opportunity to verify its functionality quickly and with very little configuration.

Very Easy to Use The product was downloaded to test open ports on a supposedly secure server. The product worked very well and gave us the information that we were looking for. I haven't used all of the features, but the interface was simple and intuitive and I would highly recommend it to others.
